I'm a Wisconsin native who grew up just outside of Madison.  I have more than a little bit of wanderlust and lived in Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, Houston and Tampa before settling in Central Wisconsin.

My wife Kristin and I met as junior camp counselors when we were 14 & 15 years old, and we've been married since 2005.  We have two kids that keep us busy, and because Kristin is a high school teacher, we can spend our summer weeks camping, hiking and paddling.

Outside of photography my interests lie mostly outdoors in "silent sports" like cycling, canoeing, x-country skiing,  and snowshoeing.  I like to stay busy and I'm always planning our next camping or river trip.

In 2013 we purchased our Main Street building in Wild Rose, which houses our portrait studio and showroom downstairs and our three bedroom flat upstairs.  Living above the studio gives me the flexibility to run the photography business while homeschooling and taking care of the kids.
